The In-Laws visited yesterday afternoon and we sat, masked, in the four corners of the room trying to make small talk at a distance (you know, just in case). They came bearing gifts of home-made chocolate cake (iced) and a six-pack of electrolyte drinks (sadly, they were raspberry, my least favourite flavour.)
Some people get brought beer, others a bottle of wine, chocolate even. Me? I got electrolytes. That said, however, I did enjoy a slice of cake later, with my cup of coffee.
