    SpringBoard

Following in everyone’s footsteps, namely, Otávio and Maique, here’s my SpringBoard post.

    Questionnaire

    – What is the first app you open in the morning?
    – Usually it’s the Guardian newspaper app to skim the news headlines, closely followed by Words with Friends to get the brain started over coffee.

    – What is an app you can’t live without?
    – Probably Apple’s Messages to be honest it’s the app I use the most to keep in contact with everyone.

    – Is there a game app you play during breaks or in your free time?
    – There are 2, as mentioned WwF and also, Hay Day, a farm game which I’m addicted too and possibly the best game ever.

    – What’s an underrated app that you think deserves more recognition?
    – You’re asking someone who uses all the Apple default apps because I have about as much knowledge about apps as I do about basket weaving.

    – What is the most recent app you’ve downloaded, and why?
    – Drafts … because I ask people what their fav apps were and this one kept coming up all the time. So …

    – What is the most unique or unconventional app you use?
    – Probably the RTC payment app for the buses. It’s very Quebec specific.

    – What is the most fun or entertaining app you’ve discovered recently?
    – Probably the Disney+ app which I use on my iPad.

    – Which app helps you stay connected with friends and family the most?
    – Definitely Messages.

    – Which app do you use to relax or unwind after a busy day?
    – That would, once again, be either the Hay Day app or Disney+.

    – What’s the phone you currently have?
    – A new iPhone 14 Pro.

    – Do you prefer light mode or dark mode?
    – Light mode … always light mode!

    – What can you tell us about the wallpaper you’re using?
    – It’s Mountain Vista but forget the artist, it was a free download for personal use.

    What is SpringBoard?

SpringBoard is the standard application that manages the iPhone’s home screen — wikipedia

As you can see I look like I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Apple Fangirl. But far from the truth, I'm actually just lazy. Why go looking for something else when Apple gave me all this stuff included in the price of my machine? So yeah, I tend to use the built-in default for most things.

Anyway, thanks for checking out my rather dull default apps list! If you’d like to share yours, I’d love to see it.

I do love it when people in the know offer support and advice to people like myself (continually learning new stuff) how to do something. Getting that lightbulb moment when it clicks and you go, “oh, so that’s how you do it?” is priceless.

A big thank you this time around to Jim Mitchell for pointing the way and, his tinylytics plugin for micro.blog. [not forgetting @Vincent for tinylytics.]

I’ve just activated (I think) @jimmitchell’s plug-in Tinylytics for my blog, though despite reading the documentation, I don’t know if I’ve done it right or not.
