Once Upon A Time ...
This one is for @andycarolan@social.lol who was curious about the last ComicCon I attended here, in Montreal. Which was way back pre-covid, in 2019. They have one of the best small gatherings going, and this particular year we got to see Once Upon A Time star, Lana Parrilla, who played the Evil Queen.
We also got to see Harry Potter’s Draco Malfoy, Tom Felton, who was hilariously funny. And also the two stars of the series, The 100, Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley. And finally, the two big names of the whole weekend were, Anson Mount and Ethan Peck, stars of the series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
So there you go, Andy, of course there was also so much more to this packed weekend than just the stars, there was all the people dress as their fav characters, many of whom were outstanding.

I am beside myself with childish glee, why? Because the wonderful and oh so generous Michael Burkhardt created a new logo for me. In the retro 50s style of his own red bean logo, he made me my own Vegas neon sign.

And what did you have for brunch this weekend?
We went bed shopping Saturday with the mother in law, and made it a day out. Especially since the MiL insisted we hit nearly every bed shop in the entire district looking for the perfect mattress (is there such a thing?)
The sister in law flagged out by the third shop …
They grow some exceptionally large squirrels in these parts …

Another beautiful sunny day out there, again, today. We had an incredibly busy, family-oriented weekend with a mall visit thrown in for good measure. So of course, I’m glad to be sat here, in my little office space, in the quiet.
