A Discovery of Witches Season 1, episodes 1 to 3 Watched Sept 23, 2024
Well, last night I discovered A Discovery of Witches, which has just started airing on Acorn TV. They have the full 3 season available and, while everyone else on the planet has probably seen it already, me and mine are just at the start. And what a start. I’ve never been a fan of this kind of genre because, come on, let’s face it, it’s usually stuff like Twilight. It’s either teen romance, violent horror, or worse, it’s reduced to farce.
But having watched the first three episodes last night, I’m now hooked and invested in knowing what comes next for Diana and Matthew. Will they, or won’t they? That’s the question. Though I’m guessing they will, as in survive, best the bad guys and, change the way the three Creature groups view one another. Bloodshed, mayhem, all out war? I’m sure we’ll get it all and then some.
I can’t wait for tonight. Bring it on.
