Madame Blanc Mysteries ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Three seasons in and while there are a couple of annoying characters who, quite frankly, I could well do without, this show has been fun. Almost a satire in it’s ability to poke fun at British stereotypes, the Madame Blanc Mysteries which is set in France, but filmed in Gozo, Malta, is as whimsical as it is fun. The very definition of a cosy mystery, the episodes always revolve around our erstwhile heroine, Jean Blanc, an antiques dealer with a gift at solving murders besting the bad guys.

In classic Agatha Christie style, each episode gently unfolds with a a couple of red herrings, the odd plot twist, spliced in with a liberal bit of British farce. Give it a go, you never know, you just might like it.
