Last night’s episode devolved into a family drama, albeit, one with a rough edge, telling us why our two competeing detectives animosity is growing, and why we should feel some sympathy towards them both. Look at the burdens they’re carrying … this is their respective motivation. A little heavy-handed.
Sad to say, it all became very predicable and formulaic. Worse, I’m beginning to feel less and less sympathy for either Lanker or Hegarty.
