So we had a crazy brunch date with just essential family, at my sister in law’s place on Sunday in which we all ate too much, maybe drank too much, and talked nostalgia for the bad good Ol' days that never really existed except in our memories.

It was fun, it was hectic and noisy and, in the end, a little sad. Everyone reminiscing about my father in law, good and bad, and still a little in shock at how quickly he passes away. Which, I suppose given all the pain he was in, was a good thing.

Christmas Day was spent with just me and the OH eating left over turkey dinner and napping, a lot, between watching really bad TV shows. Neither of us felt like doing much more. Today we did think about hitting the shops but that thought lasted, oh, all of seven seconds at the breakfast table over burnt toast and marmalade, before we both pooh poohed the idea, and decided we’d be happier doing shredding, laundry, and watering the plants than braving the rabid horde of crazed shoppers returning unwanted Christmas gifts …

And you, what are you all up to today?
