⏰ Well the week ended with the clocks going back to standard time, here, last night. And then, of course, we had an early start to our day, today. Why does this always happen? I’m sure there’s a glitch in the Matrix system somewhere. But I digress. Saturday we hit the mall for a run on Walmart to stock up on essentials (coffee being primary) before everyone here goes Christmas crazy. Yes, it’s a fact, it happens the minute November arrives. Every weekend becomes the Battle of the Bulge and, if you lived here, you’d understand that reference.

Needless to say, we got everything on our list and, if all goes to plan, neither of us will have to visit the mall again till after Christmas. Hallelujah!

I missed the last of Fall colour here what with one thing and another and the weather not cooperating, at all! So that when I did get out for a walk (or two) around the neighbourhood, the trees were pretty much in their nude phase. So, out of politeness (I’m like that) I refrained from taking any nude portraits.

Watching:

  • Noelle (Disney, 2019) — This super sweet holiday movie was the charm making me laugh more than once. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Lightyear (Disney, 2022) — I don't know why it took me so long to get around to watching this one. It was another fun-filled laugh out loud outing in the Toy Story universe. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Quiz Lady (Disney, 2023) — This ribald comedy starring Sandra Oh and Awkwafina as two crazy sisters is R-rated for a reason, mostly (I think) because of the close to the bone humour. Definite one for the adults. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Projects:
  • I want to get Flags (Tinylytics) up on the website. But I can't decide whether to do places I've visited or where visitors are from?
  • Everyone seems to be adding a new page to their blogs this weekend, but do I need a Defaults Page?
  • More important I add a section for Fiction (or, writing?)
And finally, looking forward with anticipation to cracking open the spine on my Hobinichi diary, 2024, I ordered some new stickers packs and 6 rolls of washi tape.
