🌦️ Finally, it had to happen, the weather couldn’t possibly continue to rain forever … we’re having our first full day of sunny weather in over 17 days of drizzle and rain. And not a day too soon. Because, guess what? They’re forecasting snow, that’s SNOW, for tomorrow. Downside, it was TWO degrees this morning … TWO!

πŸŽƒ I shouldn’t complain about the weather, it is Fall after all, which means wrapping up warm to go out, but coming hot to drink pumpkin spiced coffee or better yet, hot chocolate with all the trimmings. It also means back to cooking soups and stews for dinners, and making rich rice puddings for dessert. Yum, I love autumn!

πŸ’‰ Following on from getting our flu shot the other week, this week saw me and mine get both our Fall Covid booster and a shot for pneumonia. The upshot of which, meant both of us suffered with mild symptoms that left us feeling a little worse for wear. Thankfully, we weathered it and are back to our normal grouchy selves. The positive thing is we’re now fully vaxxed again!

πŸ”Ž Thanks to Maique I always discover new things happening around the web, and this week learnt tinylytics has some new features (a webring & flags) I’d like to try implement. Should be fun.

We continue to watch a couple of shows on various channels including:

  • Loki - which, this season, has been hit or miss on quality
  • Lessons in Chemistry - which, this week, turned a corner and found its feet
  • Invasion - it was the season finale on Wednesday that left us, once again, dangling on tenterhooks
  • Fastforward - we binged all 22 episodes this past 10 days. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Not a lot else happened this week mostly because of the rain, so I missed most of the Fall foliage. Maybe next year.
