📺 We finished watching the last couple of episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi last night and, I have to say, even with all the fight scenes which, for me, were unwatchable, it all felt flat and a little too contrived. The best part about the series was the casting of the smart-mouth actress Vivien Lyra Blair in the role of a very young Princess Leia. This young kid nailed it. As for Ewan McGregor? He looked and sounded wooden. I did, however, like seeing Indira Varma acting her chops off as Tala Durith! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Out of all the Star Wars series we’ve watched so far, The Mandalorian is the best, combining great action sequences with a lot of humour, and was (overall) far more entertaining start to finish. We also enjoyed the inserted The Book of Boba Fett, which really added to the overall story and arc and, of course, can’t wait to see more from the Mandalorian.

The other series we scraped through was Andor where the supporting characters and storylines were far more interesting and absorbing than the main character, Andor. A character who, quite frankly, lacked any redeeming aspects whatsoever. (check out my post Doing Disney for more.)
